This meadow is the one true open place in all of the Cazador pack's territory, with flourishing green grass fertilized by the ash from the volcano, it's where their main source of food stays also.

Surrounded on one side by the thick dense mountains of bassalt & a flowing river on the other there is little escape for foe or prey within.

This land borders the packs of Cazador & Taskann, a wide strip of desolate shrubbery & fickle trees that look as dead as the land they grow from. It is the only thing that shows the break between the packs.

This rough, rocky, snow covered ground is the beginning of the border between Taskann & Cazador territories. The snow deprives the land of growth because it is so frigid, but where the hot volcanic soil meets steam gyzers form along the ridge.

Long, deep gorge-like crevises run through the Taskann pack lands, these are made from solid ice & some turn to tubes that lead deep under ground in to the crystaline caves. Be careful though, some get thinner & smaller as they go & there is only one way to follow...forwards.

The middle forest is where the Kaitsma pack are normally to be found hunting. They share a border with the Velani, silver birch trees which curve in on their territory. They share the same problem as the Velani, with the hunting being easiest in the spring and summer due to the high number of dry ground litter on the floor.

Tall dry grass hides the hunting pack when the great herds migrate over their packlands. A wolf has to be careful out here though because there are other threats out here...and the weather can change at the flick of a tail.

The deepest forest lands. This is where the Velani lands border the Kaitsma lands. The border line is a series of silver birch trees in an arch away from Velani lands. Many creatures are here, and during the spring and summer months, hunting is easiest since the many leaves that fall from the tall thickly foliaged trees.

Here is the Velani's primary source of water. There are two pawful (eight) springs situated around the forest, all around the home dens. Prey has also been known to brave the wolf scent to drink if they are far from water, and an opportunistic wolf might make a meal from here.

These unclaimed lands border the Taskann packlands. They are inhospitable to all but the most hardy of wolves, with prey being scarce and unusual to find. Sometimes small prey may be found, but they will need to be dug out of the frozen ground.

The meeting place for the Council is to be found on a miniature island. A narrow strip of land, one wolf a time can walk onto this place. There are eight flat topped rocks sank in a circle around this odd island. It is the one place that none of the wolves are allowed to battle, but old loyalties and betrayals often run deep.

The Kaitsma lands end on the border of these unclaimed lands. The area is rocky, and if a wolf was to walk without looking he or she could find themselves flying. Though the flying could be classed as falling, since they would plummett to their deaths down onto the sharp rocks below. If a wolf was to walk along the cliff-edge, they would find their way away.
